busy Sunday

Well our plans for Sunday took a turn once G got sick (well, sicker - he had already been sick, just got worse) and we had to get out of our germy house and blow the stink off, so....first was a visit to the beach in Carmel....James had a great time running around and throwing sticks to Whiskey (or was it Whiskey that had the better time?! I think he was a fish in a past life). Grant seemed to really enjoy the fresh air and we couldn't hear his breathing from 10 paces, so that was an improvement! ;0) Colds stink!! He is on the road to recovery, meds started to work almost immediately - thank goodness!

Then later (thanks to a friend that shared some awesome luxury box tickets) we headed to the 6:00 p.m. Warrior game. So G got to spend the evening with his grandmas (biological and honorary) and James enjoyed his first bball game!!! He loved it and has a pretty sweet jersey as a souvenir...and yes he wore it to bed and to school today - of course!!!! ;0) I think Daddy has created yet another Warrior fan....

on the bright side..

G is 17 lbs 14 oz so that puts him in the 50th % for weight! Yeah! We didnt get an official length but he goes back to the doc for his 6 month check up in 10 days when he is off his antibiotics...;0)

the germs strike AGAIN...

Well an airplane trip east would not be complete without someone getting sick..not only did we get Mom-Mom sick but Grant came down with a really nasty cold...a continuation of some bug he had before we left CA.

What we hoped would just clear itself up this past week turned into double ear infections and double eye infections!! Poor doll has stuff coming out of all places...but we were lucky to get in to see the doc today and the meds should be doing their job shortly...

Despite the ickies we were still able to get outside for some fresh air today so James had some fun in the backyard and Grant had some play time in his jumperoo, good to see the germs dont have him totally down and out!

t-ball master!

James LOVES t-ball. Daddy got him a set for our backyard and Mom-Mom had a surprise set in NJ for him to play with...I am in the process of finding a league here in SJ but we think he may still be too young....most leagues start at age 5 we are told. So James has about a year and half to work on his skills.

We had a really great trip out to NJ. Flight was awesome, kids slept the entire time and we caught a really nice tail wind that got us here in less then 4 hours!

It was a really nice Easter Sunday. We made it to church pretty much on time and the mass wouldn't have been complete without James using the bathroom twice and Grant wetting through his pants...ah life with kids! ;0)

We had an Easter egg hunt and get together at the house on Sat afternoon and lots of kids from the neighborhood and family/friends joined in the fun! It was great to see everyone and watch the kids interact. Amazing how fast they are all growing up! Grant got to meet his NJ family and friends for the first time and smiled through it all....;0)

Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop bought G a really cool gift - its called the  rainforest jump-a-roo - he only lasts in it about 15 min max each "ride" but its really fun to watch him jumping around and playing with all the toys attached. As for James, it was really like Christmas, with all the wonderful gifts he received from visitors! The generosity never ends!! ;0)

24 weeks old! James was with grandma and daddy was running errands, so mommy and grant got to play in the grass!!! yea! He managed to sit up by himself for more then 45 seconds! Score!

Baby blues

Check out those baby blues (well maybe gray/blue)...chances were slim we would have child that got my eyes, so this is a coup....we'll see if they stick around...

We went to Happy Hollow (park/zoo in SJ) today with Auntie, Uncle and cousin Blake. We had a great time and now we are all crashing...
