saturday fun
we had a fun day - first James went to see Wall E with mom-mom & pop-pop while Daddy worked, and Mommy & Grant ran errands. Then we all headed to Half Moon Bay to Sam's Chowder House and had some fun on the beach. Then to top off the day, Grant and I had some fun on the grass in the front yard....

Fun at the beach
I had a special opportunity today to join a friend at a beach photo shoot. I had the privilege of meeting Ophelia - who is 3 years old - and a sweetheart. Below are just a few captures from our fun on the beach. Thanks again to Nathiya for letting me tag along! ;0)
Milestones
Today I can officially say that Grant is a professional crawler and puller-upper. Very much the leaning tower of Pisa and a drunken sailor but a bona fide crawler - turbocharged!! ;0) He even laughs when he goes really fast, even surprising himself! Let the games begin~~

what do you see?
He loves to sit in the backyard and watch the trees, animals and preferably James playing a variety of sports...soon he will be participating! ;0)Today Grant really perfected his crawling technique and with only a finger of help from me, pulled himself up on the ottoman (trust me it was shaky). I spotted him the whole time but he is really getting good, and strong!! We are in for it, now! ;0)
We also tried 2 bites of chicken vegetable medley and well, it didnt get spit back up, so we'll try again tomorrow. He washed it down with apricot/apple delight...yummy!

busy weekend
On Sunday afternoon friends Dion, Aurora and baby Desiree came over to visit, as well as friends Rodney, Renate and their kids Nicholas and Jasmine.James and Jassie had some fun with bubbles and I got a sweet pic of mommy & Desi (as I like to call her - hehe).
We had a very busy and fun-filled weekend! On Saturday we went to the Sunnyvale Art & Wine festival and saw friends Nathiya & Soraj. Nathiya designs and sells her her own jewelry and we visited them at their booth! I got a new beautiful ring - check it out!! You can get one too at Pineapple Seed.

My sister-in-law Charinya's baby shower was a great success. This was my first attempt at making frosted sugar cookies. They served as favors and dessert.
We had over 60 people at our house - a record I think! It was wonderful and now we have the entertaining bug (now that our backyard is done) so get ready for some summer BBQs!
Boys are great - James is up to his "almost 4 yr old" tricks and Grant is a crawling, toothless wonder!
