big brothers

wow its been a while since i have posted to the blog. what a great, but busy summer we have had. Hard to believe that James is now 5 and Grant will soon be 2...:) Time flies.

James started junior K in August at St Justin School in Santa Clara and is really enjoying his new friends and surroundings.

Grant is living the life as an active 2 yr old. Keeping us very busy with his curious and often dare-devilish ways. :)

We are looking forward to a fall season packed with lots of fun activities. Halloween is just around the corner...then we are into the holidays. WOW!

Then we look forward to February, as we await the arrival of our new little sister. :) Time to locate some new "my little sister loves me" t-shirts....:)

Grant had his 18m check up and all was well. 2 shots and some blood work (routine) and we were outta there! Smiles and relaxation within 5 minutes of getting in the car. Yeah for short attention spans...at least in this case. :)

the ol' stats:

34 3/8" tall (97%)
27 lbs (75%)

was able to point to his nose and tummy upon request. :)

We spent Sat afternoon playing in the park with newlywed friends Michelle and Kevin to celebrate Michelle's birthday! Happy birthday again my friend!
Below is a picture of her BEAUTIFUL son Cameron...serious expression but come on, look at that child? I could just eat him up!

Another busy week is behind us...really looking forward to the weekend! woot woot!
G's 18 mo visit was postponed to 4/20...stats to follow. ;-)

I am trying to get back to regular blogging...;0)

Today I toured WG Elementary. Amazing that my first born is entering kindergarten in August...wow!

Now we just have to decide what school is best...decisions, decisions.

James has his 4.5-5 yr old visit today. shots are in his future. ugh! never fun but a necessity...I am thinking there will be a large ice cream cone in his future too. ;0)

saturday with the boys

boys love to get into the dirt...the dirtier the better it seems. I couldn't drag them away from the rock bed for a good twenty minutes. ;0)

The picture of the tops of their heads is meaningful because it reminds me how slowly James' hair grew in and now he has a super nice head of hair. The "eye of the hurricane" hair do that Grant is sporting is nicely filling out. ;0)

Now if any more teeth want to make an appearance, we are ready. ;0)

15 month check up

Today was G's 15 month check up. It went well..

weight 24.6 lbs (50%)

we appear to make them long and lean...;0)

Lately (and I have a feeling it's here for good) Grant will only feed himself. If you feed him he will not accept, turn away, screech with great disdain, until you hand over the spoon. Its messy but he gets the job done....;0)
